This post was motivated by the death of Charlie Kirk.
It feels stupid to devote so much of one's headspace to this topic given that I am not an American.
It does not help that the algorithm gods are working overtime to feed everyone with slop everytime one opens reels or TikTok.
It's interesting to see such wide ranging perspectives. It has always been hard for me to take hard stances when it came to some topics.
Some people on the left are coming out and expressing sympathy for the guy and his family. Some are saying he deserved it.
This post is basically me trying to sort my thoughts on the matter.
Hmmm. The more I think, the more I realize that I know absolutely jackshit about anything.
"The people need the develop class conscioussness ?"
I can't say anything more than that with respect to the fact that the fight is between the rich and the poor and not left vs right.
If I try to go on a philosophical hypothetical about whether Charlie Kirk deserved to die for his abhorrent views, I realize that I
cannot say anything more than "I am a moral relativist". But I have a code of ethics nevertheless.
I realize now that watching philosophy podcasts does not equate to being able to formulate complex philosophical positions and defending them.
